Meet Ray Zeran

“I’m an electrician, not a politician!”

Raymond Zeran has lived in Coon Rapids for 20 years and is married with two children.

He has a bachelor’s degree in physical education and earned a 2-year degree from Anoka Tech in 2002.

Raymond is an electrician with over 20 years of experience in the electrical industry. He is a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers and the National Electrical Contractors Association, and the owner of Raymond Electric. From 2014 to 2019, he was a Business Representative for IBEW Local 292.

After serving for two years on the Anoka County Workforce Development Board, he was appointed to the Metropolitan Council by Governor Tim Walz in March 2019.
